We  carry out all types of electrical installation work from complete rewires to changing a plug. Here is a sample list of our general electrical work:

• New consumer units - we specialise in the replacement of old fuseboards to bring the circuit protection up to the latest requirements in line with the current regulations (BS7671 2018). These usually incorporate RCD protection and in addition have this protection applied to each circuit individually. This greatly reduces the likelihood of nuisance tripping and aids in the identification of faults. It is also essential where the electrical installation is protected by an earth rod (TT earth system)
• New circuits e.g. shower circuits, additional sockets, lights etc
• Power to outside buildings - garages, sheds
• Changes to existing circuits and installations - LED downlights to replace old halogen types, new accessories (sockets, switches etc)
• Ventilation - installation of extractor fans and upgrades to existing ventilation (replacement of old units for more efficient types)
• Electric heating - new LOT20 compliant heaters including Quantum storage heaters, under floor electric heating, bathroom heating including heated towel rails and downflow heaters
• Wiring arising from building work - new extensions and refurbishments, new kitchen installation (these often require electrical points to be moved or added)
